Throughout its history, the „Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca has fulfilled its mission, educating dozens of generations of valuable and dedicated doctors and pharmacists. Our name is a brand of the city where we live, and how this name is perceived by the community is the result of years of effort and dedication from the teachers as well as the graduates and students of the Cluj medical and pharmaceutical school. Thus, our mission is to promote academic excellence in training healthcare professionals who can successfully integrate into the global healthcare job market. Also, achieving excellence in research and increasing the international visibility of the University is undoubtedly an essential goal, the realization of which will validate the proposed vision.The university’s mission evolves continuously, in relation to the rapidly evolving knowledge-based society, the exact and biological sciences, particularly medical sciences, as well as new information and communication technologies.To achieve the vision and turn it into reality, we focus on clearly defining the system of fundamental values and strengthening a strong brand of our university.
