The Museum of Cluj Medical School, „Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, offers its visitors an insight into the history of the medical education in Cluj-Napoca with a tradition of over two and a half centuries.
The Museum’s collections (documents, photographs, publications of members of the academic community, scientific equipment, rare books, pieces of furniture etc.) are being valorised within the three sections: the permanent exhibition, the history of medicine library (a subdivision of the „Valeriu Bologa” Library) and the temporary exhibition.
The Museum of Cluj Medical School also provides various facilities to the public: thematic guides, educational programs for middle and high school students (in order to familiarize them with the history of medicine and the history of medical education in Cluj), information and documentation programs (for the public interested in the history of science and history of higher education).
