Master’s studies are a form of university education that provides in-depth study of subjects in the field of undergraduate studies or a related field, with the aim of developing scientific research skills and providing a preparatory basis for doctoral studies.
At UMF “Iuliu Hațieganu”, the master’s degrees developed in recent years allow to obtain complementary skills to medical or pharmaceutical studies. The Master’s programmes have been designed in such a way as to offer the possibility of integration also to graduates with other specialisations than medical or pharmaceutical, graduates of the faculties of economics-management, biology, computer science, law, etc.
Master’s degrees are interdisciplinary studies, lasting 2 or 4 semesters and integrating several areas of specialisation. The diversification of the educational offer of UMF “Iuliu Hațieganu” has included the development of master programmes organised according to Bologna criteria.
