The Department of Research, Development and Innovation will contribute to strengthening the position of the university as an active player in research, with nationally and internationally recognized achievements by supporting fundamental and applied scientific research activity in medical, biological, pharmaceutical research units or in research centres promoting excellence in the field of Health.
DepCDI’s mission is to plan, design and implement, through the implementation of projects, strategies aimed at ensuring a high level of scientific research performance within the university, in a national and international context.
Department of Research, Development and Innovation:
- provides the framework for project submission, contracting, implementation and management
- informs potential beneficiaries about the launch of funding calls
- provides technical advice to academics and researchers in the university for the submission and implementation of projects
- ensures the financial, administrative and technical management of projects in the university
- keeps separate records for each grant/project and controls the use of funds in accordance with the legal provisions and the obligations assumed in the funding contracts
- provides expert advice on the preparation and submission of the necessary documentation for obtaining industrial property rights (patents), provides advice on obtaining intellectual property rights
