Book Sterilizer
The LIVA Book and Document Sterilizer effectively removes viruses, bacteria, micro-organisms (parasites, mites, fungi, molds) that can lodge on books and documents – both on the covers and inside them, while also removing fine dust particles.
In addition to books and documents, the LIVA sterilizer can also remove potential sources of infection from personal items (mobile phone, wallet) or professional items (small/medium sized tools, equipment and accessories).

NEW IN THE LIBRARY!
You can borrow and return books on a self-service basis at the Self Check station located on the 3rd floor, V. Babeș 8 (for books on this floor only).
Self Check station – use
Step No. 1) Select the required service from the interface (UPGRADE, RENEW or RETURN)
Step No. 2) Scan the Library card (User ID is positioned with the barcode upwards to be detected by the red laser stripe)
Step No. 3) Place the cards in the space indicated by the Self Check machine.
Step No. 4) When the operation is successfully completed, tap the FINISH option.
Step No. 5) If you want a receipt, you can choose to PRINT RECEIPT, otherwise NO RECEIPT.
To view the user’s account, select the CONT option from the main interface, followed by scanning the card (see Step 2). Users can track the number of books borrowed, reservations and costs (penalties accrued for late returns of library publications).
You have the option to select the display language (Romanian, English or French) at the bottom of the screen.
