Control and Inventory Office

The Control and Inventory Office of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy ,,Iuliu Hațieganu” is organized as a functional structure under the General Administration Direction and aims at the objective examination of the management of the university’s assets.

Control is present at all levels of the public entity. In addition to the control activity integrated into the management line, there may be specifically constituted specialised control structures whose activity is carried out on the basis of a plan designed by taking into account the risks.

The staff of the department shall work on the basis of a plan approved by the university management.

The main objective of management control is to verify compliance with the legal rules on:

  • The existence, integrity, preservation and security of assets and valuables of any kind held in any capacity.
  • Use of material values of any kind, downgrading and disposal of assets.
  • Making cash or account receipts and payments
  • Drawing up and circulating primary documents, technical-operational and accounting documents.
