We invite you to take part in NeurotechEU-Decide: Joint Autumn School on Decision-Making, an international programme organised within NeurotechEU – The European University of Brain and Technology.
The event will take place between 28 September and 2 October 2026, in Bonn, Germany, and is co-organised by the University of Bonn and Radboud University. The programme brings together Master’s students, PhD students, and researchers from NeurotechEU member universities to explore how decisions are made, from cognitive models and neural mechanisms to clinical conditions, ethical aspects, and applied perspectives.
Throughout the programme, participants will address questions such as: how decisions can be modelled and described, how neural systems influence decision-making behaviour, how the decision-making process changes in certain clinical conditions, and what ethical challenges arise in this field. The activities will combine lectures delivered by researchers, interactive elements, discussions, and interdisciplinary exchange of ideas.
The programme is addressed to Master’s students, PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers from NeurotechEU member universities, especially those with a background in fields such as psychology, neuroscience, computer science, economics, medicine, biomedical engineering, or related areas.
Members of UMF “Iuliu Hațieganu” interested in this opportunity are encouraged to consult the full information available on the NeurotechEU website and to contact the local NeurotechEU team for details regarding the application and selection process until 31 May 2026.
