NeurotechEU 2040: “Make your voice heard” – invitation for the NeurotechEU team at UMF

“Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, as a partner in the NeurotechEU European University Alliance, invites members of our community involved in the Alliance’s activities to take part in the “NeurotechEU 2040: Make your voice heard” lunchtime seminar series.

This alliance wide initiative aims to gather ideas, concerns, and proposals from students, academic staff, researchers, administrative staff, and operational teams, contributing to the development of the NeurotechEU 2040 long term strategy. The sessions are designed as interactive meetings with short introductions, facilitated discussions, and group work, ensuring that participants’ voices are heard and reflected in the Alliance’s future directions.

NeurotechEU General Secretary Mark Vlek de Coningh highlights the importance of broad participation at this stage of development:

“NeurotechEU is at a pivotal moment in its existence. We have achieved much to be proud of, but we can do more and can go further. In the coming years, we’ll be making big decisions in the alliance, and we will need a clear strategy to guide us. This is our opportunity to shape the direction of our alliance together and I hope you will all join and let your voice be heard.”

All four sessions are open to members of the Alliance, including staff from associated partner institutions. In particular, we encourage participation from the NeurotechEU team at UMF “Iuliu Hațieganu”, regardless of each person’s role in the projects: education, research, mobility, communication, management, or administrative support.

Taking part in these sessions is an opportunity to contribute directly to the future of NeurotechEU and to support a shared direction shaped by the real needs of our communities across partner universities.

We warmly encourage you to join the NeurotechEU 2040 series, share your perspectives, and help shape the strategy that will guide the Alliance in the years ahead.
