Opportunity for Students: Blended Intensive Programme – Robotic Rehabilitation & BCI Applications

Students from the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca are invited to apply for the NeurotechEU Blended Intensive Programme: Robotic Rehabilitation and Brain-Computer Interface Applications, an international programme dedicated to those interested in neurotechnology, robotics, rehabilitation, and digital health.

The programme will take place between 24 August and 4 September 2026 and combines online activities with a physical component organised in Istanbul, between 31 August and 4 September 2026. The programme awards 4 ECTS credits and is organised within NeurotechEU – The European University of Brain and Technology by Boğaziçi University, in collaboration with Université de Lille, Radboud University, Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, and Reykjavik University.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics at the intersection of neuroscience, robotics, and digital health, such as musculoskeletal biomechanics, pathologies affecting human movement, mobile robotics, exoskeletons, wireless sensors, and brain-computer interfaces. The programme includes virtual preparation, applied activities, and hands-on experience in a research environment, alongside experts from the R&D sector.

UMF “Iuliu Hațieganu” students interested in this opportunity must apply directly through the platform indicated by the organisers by 31 May 2026. After the application period ends, the organisers will send the university the list of UMF candidates, after which the internal selection and nomination of participants will be carried out by UMF “Iuliu Hațieganu” by 15 June 2026.

Important: applying directly to the programme does not guarantee participation. Final participation will be subject to the internal selection process and nomination by the university.
