Students of the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca have the opportunity to apply for one of the 10 scholarships offered by the University of Bonn for an Intensive German Language Course, taking place in September 2026, within the NeurotechEU alliance.
The programme is open to students from NeurotechEU member universities, at BA, MA or PhD level, and offers participants the opportunity to develop their language skills, discover the German academic environment and connect with an international community of students.
The course will take place at the University of Bonn from 3 to 24 September 2026, with classes scheduled daily from 09:00 to 12:15. The programme includes 56 course units, with each unit lasting 45 minutes. The course is open to all language levels, and participants will take a mandatory online placement test. In addition, course participants will also have the opportunity to attend a neuroscience-related event.
The scholarship amounts to €1,300 and can be used to cover travel expenses and subsistence costs. The course fee is already covered.

The application file must include the following documents:
- official Transcript of Records, including grades and ECTS credits;
- Curriculum Vitae, in English or German;
- copy of ID card or passport;
- a short statement of approximately 250 words on the topic “My Language Learning Journey”.
The application deadline is 24 June 2026.
