The platform’s features include:

  • Live feed: real-time social feed, where members can view the entire activity of the community they are part of.
  • People: managing, connecting and engaging community members.
  • Events: organizing, promoting and managing events (both physical and online) in an integrated manner, directly from the community.
  • Forums: organized discussion spaces, where community members can create and participate in debates on various topics.
  • News: broadcasting important announcements and updates to the entire community or to specific groups.

 

Alumni – “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca is a department created in 2017, within the internal architecture of the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca, with the aim of involving UMFIH graduates (Alumni) in the life of the University, after completing their studies, as well.

The Alumni Department has the mission to strengthen the connection between the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy and its graduates, by developing an active professional community, supporting career development, facilitating academic and clinical collaborations and promoting the values ​​and impact of the university in society.

Our main objectives are:

  1. Facilitating dialogue, collaboration and interactions of UMFIH graduates both with the University and with former Faculty colleagues.
  2. Creating an annual Alumni core event, within which to reunite generations of graduates.
  3. Creating an Alumni magazine, online and in print, in which news from various fields, interviews with outstanding graduates as well as information of general interest will be published.
  4. Permanent support of student organizations in various activity processes.
  5. Permanent support for UMF Cluj graduates, both in carrying out scientific activities and in organizing class reunions.
  6. Creating a mentoring space where graduates share with UMFIH students real stories, experiences, choices and skills necessary for a successful career.
