“Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca has signed an agreement with the Cluj-Napoca Public Transport Company for the issuance of free and discounted transport passes for students, master’s and doctoral students enrolled in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Free and discounted subscriptions are charged to the contactless card at one of the Ticketing Points. The first top-up of each new academic year must be done at a Card Sales Center, to verify the required documents. The subscriptions can be extended later at the Vending Machines in the stations, only before they expire.

Free and discounted subscriptions require:
– ID card;
– The notebook for the academic year 2023-2024 or a certificate issued by the university attesting to student status, the form of education (with frequency, budget or fee) and the year of study;
– one of the non-bank cards StudCard, ISIC Student, Euro<26Student, OMNIPASS, A Card/A Kártya and City Card (only for points 1,3,4,5,6);
– For students from point 4, a copy of the parent’s death certificate or certificate of placement is required.
