Opportunity for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers!

Reykjavik University, a member of the NeurotechEU alliance, is organizing a Winter School dedicated to PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who want to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and learn how to transform scientific ideas into innovative solutions.
What does the program offer?
- Interactive lectures and hands-on workshops
- Mentoring sessions with field experts
- Case studies based on real-life examples
- Development of a compelling pitch for funders and partners
Format: Blended mobility – online preparation followed by an intensive 5-day on-site program at Reykjavik University, from 10–14 November 2025.
Who can apply: PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from relevant fields.
- Each partner university in the alliance can select up to 3 participants and will cover travel and participation costs.
- Applications are submitted through the home university, which will forward the selected candidates to Reykjavik University by 30 August 2025.
The deadline for submitting applications has been extended, so we are accepting applications until Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

- 30 July 2025 – Application files submitted electronically to: neurotecheu.mobility@brainscience.ro
- 1–15 August 2025 – Application review
- 18 August 2025 – Final results published on the UMFIH website
