The University of Bonn announces the opening of applications for the NeurotechEU Internship Program, addressed to bachelor’s and master’s students from the alliance. The program offers direct access to high-level research training in the fields of neuroscience and neurotechnology, within some of Germany’s most advanced laboratories.
About the program
Location: University of Bonn, Germany
Period: June 1 – August 31, 2026
Throughout the internship, participants will join active research teams, contribute to real scientific outputs, and work closely with leading researchers in modern, internationally recognized facilities.
The program is designed as an intensive experience, combining the development of practical skills, immersion in the academic environment, and early steps toward a professional research career.
What the internship offers
- access to hands-on training in neuroscience and neurotechnology laboratories
- the opportunity to select up to three preferred laboratories
- structured supervision and mentorship
- continuous support from the NeurotechEU Project Office Bonn
- optionally, a leisure and social program, offering a well-rounded experience during the stay in Bonn
