NeurotechEU is launching a special internship call that connects research, talent, and industry across Europe through its network of Associated Partners.
Open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students across the NeurotechEU alliance, this programme offers hands-on experience in interdisciplinary environments where neuroscience meets innovation. Interns will work alongside academic and industry mentors, explore real-world challenges, contribute to ongoing projects, and strengthen the skills needed to translate scientific knowledge into practical impact.
Selected participants will join this international experience between June and September 2026, gaining:
- professional development in a real working environment
- cross-border connections and collaboration opportunities
- exposure to diverse career paths in neurotechnology and related fields
Internship formats
1) Standard Internship
Focus: Observation, experiential learning and training
A structured introduction to a professional NeurotechEU environment, ideal for students who want to sharpen their skills through direct observation of workflows and guided training within industrial or academic host partners.
2) Value Creation Internship
Focus: Problem solving and strategic innovation
A project-based internship where students tackle a specific real-life challenge faced by the host institution and develop a feasible solution. The project scope is defined by the host Associated Partner, based on the student’s profile and expertise.
