{"id":46390,"date":"2022-02-14T05:47:47","date_gmt":"2022-02-14T03:47:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umfcluj.ro\/medicina\/educatie\/studenti\/practica-medicala\/"},"modified":"2025-03-18T11:14:27","modified_gmt":"2025-03-18T09:14:27","slug":"summer-medical-practice","status":"publish","type":"med","link":"https:\/\/umfcluj.ro\/en\/medicine\/education\/students\/summer-medical-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer Medical Practice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>INFORMATION ON THE MEDICAL INTERNSHIP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>What is medical internship?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is a compulsory didactic activity included in the Curriculum of the Faculty of Medicine, starting with the 1<sup>st<\/sup> year up to the 5<sup>th<\/sup> year of study.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the duration and period of the clinical practice?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the Education Plan, the number of hours of summer practice is different for each year of study.<\/p>\n<p>The medical internship shall take place for a period of maximum <strong>4 weeks, 8 hours\/day <\/strong>at the maximum.<\/p>\n<p>As to the internship duration, what matters the most is the number of hours and not the number of days. For example, if a student performs 8 hours of practice\/day, the internship will take 20 working days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Framework-Convention on Internship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It can be downloaded from the Faculty of Medicine website. It will be signed by the internship partners (general practitioners\/hospital managers), by the student and then by the UMF representative. The students who will perform their internship in Romania have to submit the Framework-Convention in <em>Romanian language<\/em> (no matter what their language of study is: Romanian, French or English). The students who perform their internship outside Romania will use the Framework-Conventions in French or English, as the case may be.<\/p>\n<p>The Framework-Convention must be signed by the manager of the establishment where the internship takes place, by the head of the clinical section and by the guiding doctor\/internship tutor;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DO NOT FORGET that the blank for the tutor&#8217;s specialty must also be filled in<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of the 1<sup>st<\/sup> year students, the Framework-Convention must be signed by the general practitioner who supervises the medical internship;<\/p>\n<p>The Framework-Convention must be submitted <strong>in original<\/strong> <strong>form<\/strong> at the Decanat of the Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>More information can be found in the Framework-Convention from each specialization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ATTENTION!
