The medical profession has always been a significant option for the most valuable young women and men, thanks to its noble character and social recognition. Dental medicine, one of the most liberal medical professions, offers, besides the regular professional responsibility, a higher degree of independence, allowing the professionals to be both a doctor and an entrepreneur.<\/p>\n
In 2020, dental medicine is developing at a fast pace, well into the digital era. The workforce mobility inside and outside of Europe is an excellent opportunity for our graduates. In this context, the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the Iuliu Ha\u021bieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca gives its students the opportunity to graduate with one of the most sought-after degrees in the world, a dentist\u2019s diploma.<\/p>\n
Founded in 1919 by the professor Gheorghe Bila\u0219cu, upon prof. Iuliu Ha\u021bieganu\u2019s initiative, the dental medicine school of Cluj-Napoca was also the first mandatory dental medicine school in Romania. Our Faculty of Dental Medicine is, more than a century after it was founded, still in a leading position among the dental medicine schools of Romania, as well as a landmark European school, due to its tradition of training international students as professionals to be recognised in their countries of origin.<\/p>\n
Our human resources, the teaching staff, is the main factor that ensures the completion of our mission and, besides tradition, is our most valuable asset. The high professional quality of our teaching staff and our generous infrastructure, as well as our endowments, secure the premises for the optimum education of dental medicine students (6 years) and dental technology students (3 years). The dental medicine faculty has three teaching languages: Romania, French and English. The faculty also organises postgraduate programmes: masters\u2019 and doctoral studies, as well as residency.<\/p>\n
