Platform\u0103 de bioinformatic\u0103 a Centrului de Genomic\u0103 este indispensabil\u0103 \u00een contextul studiilor biologice actuale care permit <strong>generarea unor volume mari de date (\u201dbig data\u201d) utiliz\u00e2nd tehnologiile de tip high-throughput din cadrul laboratorului nostru, precum cea de microarray \u0219i a celorlalte tehnologii de tip \u201domics\u201d \u2013 genomic\u0103, transcriptomic\u0103, proteomic\u0103 etc<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Prin utilizarea tehnologiei computa\u021bionale datele generate \u00een urma unui experiment efectuat \u00een cadrul laboratorului pot fi <strong>stocate, organizate \u0219i analizate<\/strong> \u00een vederea maximiz\u0103rii informa\u021biei ce poate fi extras\u0103 din datele brute ob\u021binute astfel \u2013 date legate de nivelul de expresie al diferi\u021bilor transcrip\u021bi (ARNm, microARN, ARN-uri lungi non-codificatoare), date privind modific\u0103rile genetice\/genomice ap\u0103rute \u00een diferite patologii complexe (muta\u021bii, rearanjamente genomice, varia\u021bii ale num\u0103rului de copii) \u0219i metode de vizualizare a acestora. Dezvoltarea instrumentelor bioinformatice a permis simularea computa\u021bional\u0103, ce poate completa cu date noi strategiile experimentale, precum identificarea de interac\u021biuni intermoleculare, gene-\u021bint\u0103, c\u0103i de semnalizare, analize ontologice, corela\u021bii cu datele clinice ale pacien\u021bilor.
